DSLR Camera Myths

There are many untruths about imaging and DSLR cameras. Some of them have been around since the dawn of photography, while others have very recently surfaced with the digital revolution. We will provide reviews of some of these below.

Myth 1: Expensive cameras let me shoot better pictures

We say that this common misunderstanding applies not just to DSLR cameras, but all other consumer items as well — tennis rackets, cars, etc. While an expensive camera usually sports the most  cutting-edge technology and advanced features, having all of them doesn't necessarily ensure better pictures.

Myth 2: Higher pixel count equates to better image quality

We say: as much as having greater pixel resolution will allow for larger prints, it should always be noted that reviews show that the size of the camera sensor also plays a very important role in determining the quality of images.
