New Panasonic DSLR Camera Will be Released

The new Panasonic digital camera will be the third Lumix digital SLR in the Panasonic series and it will likely  be a primary feature of Panasonic's Photokina lineup. The Photokina series begins in Cologne on Sept. 23.

Reviews show that the digital SLR is quickly becoming competitive with the longtime leaders Canon and Nikon, which are facing fierce competition from newcomers including Sony, Panasonic, FujiFilm and Olympus. The most recent new digital SLR camera, which was the Nikon's D90, was just announced in August 2008 and it brought a feature to the market that was not present on other models: it has the ability to record high-definition video.
